Once an urban landfill, Skyway is now a green oasis for golfers in Jersey City. The 9-hole layout does a great job of making the most of its limited urban space. Fairways run fast and are surrounded by dunes and wiry fescue. Skyway is linksy and feels a world away from the Manhattan Skyline that hangs in the background.
On the west side of Lincoln Park, Skyway was Hudson County's first public golf facility. The course was created with the goal of achieving a positive environmental impact and has become an exemplary example of urban transformation.
The course's unique design features an equal mix of challenging par-3, 4, and 5s. It's perfect for city golfers looking to play nine holes before or after work.
