"Golf as it should be."
Sage Valley is a golfer's paradise, where first-timers are greeted warmly with a "Welcome Home." Genuine Southern hospitality is an institution here.
A private national membership golf club located just outside Augusta, Georgia, the 18-hole golf course designed by Tom Fazio has several similar characteristics and feels to Augusta National. The course and clubhouse are surrounded by acres of tranquil southern pine forest. Your group will feel as if you have complete seclusion from the outside world.
Once you meet your caddie on the range, they will be by your side for all your rounds at Sage. Manicured to perfection, the course is full of beautiful yet thought-provoking holes. This is no resort course; the front nine is more scoreable than the back as the hilly walk starts to catch up with you (as well as all of the southern meals you've been eating). An all-time halfway house hang awaits as you walk from the long, tricky par-4 9th.
*Be sure to grab a homemade oatmeal raisin cookie from the pro shop after your round. It may be the best cookie in golf.*
Post-round vibes at Sage Valley are unrivaled. Hit the par-3, short course to settle bets or after dinner with music playing and frozen transfusions in hand. The Retreat, the short course's clubhouse, has one of golf's best patios. Lined with rocking chairs, the lodge has a restaurant, bar, and a large group fire pit with its own green to hit shots into. Sage Valley also has a Gun Club, a full-service spa, and a brand-new gym overlooking the short course.
The cottages at Sage are member-owned and are the man caves of your dreams. Each full of unique amenities, the cottage itself is worth the trip. Dining at Sage is as good as it gets. You will not leave hungry.
If you get the call, don't turn it down!
