Osprey Point is an inland course with holes weaving through forest and saltwater marshes. Ponds and Lowcountry Cottage Style houses line most holes, setting the scene for vacationers. With several solid short par 4's, Tom Fazio's resort layout is the perfect warmup for the Ocean Course.
Originally designed as a private, members-only course, it was eventually acquired by Kiawah Island Golf Resort and made public.
Osprey Point has been recognized as one of the "50 Best Golf Courses for Women" by Golf for Women magazine. The generously wide fairways make the course a solid option for casual twilight rounds with your significant other.
Be sure to hit the 19th hole after your round. Find a seat on the veranda and grab some BBQ + a beer (or three) at Cherrywood BBQ & Ale House.
