Beach to Tee Box.
The OC Muni is just a short walk from the beach. Located on Bay Avenue and 26th Street, this 12-hole par 37 executive course is perfect for a twilight round with friends or family following a day at the beach.
Holes range from 65 to 235 yards, making it an excellent course for beginners, seniors who prefer shorter distances, and seasoned players wanting to sharpen their short-game skills.
The course is adjacent to the Ocean City Municipal Airport, the only airport on a New Jersey barrier island. Tee-off and take-off can be used interchangeably here as planes take off and land nearly right above your head as you play.
The par-3 course has a very relaxed vibe, sandwiched between Main Street and Marshland. Grab a coffee and maybe some pancakes before your round at the OC Airport Dinner, connected to the clubhouse.
There's no need to change out of your bathing suit when teeing it up at the Ocean City Muni.
If you're looking for a post-round meal, look no further than Voltacos, just down the road. Serving the shore since 1954, they specialize in everything from prepared Italian classics to cheesesteaks (the best in the area). There are a few picnic tables outside if you want to feast there.
