Rolling hills, breakfast sandwiches, and glorious sunrises welcome you to High Bridge Hills. Open, undulating fields and farmhouses set the scene. Often referred to as a links-style course, High Bridge Hills exudes many characteristics of a heathland-style track, similar to the inland courses found in Great Britain.
Elevation changes present many unique shots, including several interesting par 3 holes. No two par 3’s are the same - some require a hybrid while some call for a wedge. The par 3 - 8th hole, with a tee-to-green drop of nearly 100 feet over a natural gorge, is a magnet for lost balls and double bogeys. The mid-range par 3 4th overlooks the Spruce Run Reservoir, hot-air balloons often rising in the distance.
Tee it up from the Tournament Tee’s on the par 4 - 16th hole - the trail through the woods to find the tee box is worth the adventure.
Make sure to start or finish the day with a trip to nearby Gronsky’s Milk House for one of NJ’s best pork roll, egg, and cheese sandwiches.
