Bandon Trails

Bandon, Oregon

There is no consensus on where Bandon Trails ranks amongst the other courses at Bandon & I don’t see this changing anytime soon. Often overlooked, the thing that usually holds Trails back in rankings is its’ lack of seaside holes. I get it…People travel from all over the world to Bandon to play golf on the Pacific Ocean. But what remains underrated and what Trails offers better than the rest is a tranquil walk through coastal Oregon forest. An authentic taste of the Pacific Northwest.

Trails is my 2nd favorite course on the property.

The clubhouse at Trails is undoubtedly the best at Bandon. Get there early or stay after - no clubhouse better shares an ethos with its course. A minimalist’s dream, the Japanese-inspired menu is A+. Grab a seat next to one of the fire pits, some Bandon Pale Ale, and watch groups tee off from the first hole at The Preserve.

A perfect post-round feast - Don’t miss the poke bowl or beef udon soup.
